Default Daytona 24 GTLM Entries

Interesting lineup this year for GTLM - Ferrari 488, BMW M6, Ford GT, Corvette, and the 911 RSR. Looks like the 911 and Corvette are the only non-turbos.
Anybody know if the RSR got the new motor for this race?

As a die-hard Porsche guy I want to see the Porsche win it.

But I'm also kinda secretly hoping that the Ford does well.

It will be interesting to see if the Ferrari 488 is ready for prime time.

Minor updates to RSR, mostly aero and rules updates. Well see if reliability and experience can defeat the newer designs.

Porsche owns the pole in every class in which they are participating:
Rum Bum 997 on pole in Continental GS
Rebel Rock Cayman on pole in Continental ST
Porsche on pole in Weathertech GTLM
Park Place on pole in Weathertech GTD

I was thinking the same thing, or at least beat the Vette.

Oh a side note about CTSCC I notice neither bodymotion and DeMan Motorsports did not show up for the race today? What's up with that - any info?

Great showing but weather was a big factor in qualifying. Hoping they run as well in the dry.

Bodymotion was racing today. Good race with few yellows.

Whats the consensus of the M6? Pig? Are they worthy with the right pilot?

It would be a pig if they were in any way similar to the street car! They are tube frame non-street car based chassis with the driver almost sitting in the rear seat. Though this isn't a new development for this year. The M3 was the same.
