Keep your eyes open. Broadfoot Racing had their F250, trailer and 944 stolen from a hotel parking lot in Pooler, GA at this weekends DE.

Looks like they are actually targeting the F-250's and it's just easier to pull the whole rig away. Our DE registrar lost his truck last year near the same hotel. My company had four F-250's stolen last month in FL. I would guess they are on a boat to South America or the Mid East by now.

I hate hearing stories like this. Although I'm sure there is a way around it, in the same situation I usually pull the starter and fuel pump relays when I leave my truck at the hotel or track. Hope there is a positive outcome for this.

I'm in Atlanta for business and will keep my eyes open. Truly hope you find everything intact and unharmed.

I'm sure you've thought of this, but I'd let locals know, Goldcrest, Barber, etc. Sorry for your loss. Hopefully temporary and fully recovered.

Wow, I am sorry to hear of this.

Does a Ford truck like that not have an immobilizer system that requires the key to start up? Does the truck alarm sound when the trailer is unplugged from the hitch?

Consider a LoJack system for the trailer and truck. Peace of mind and not that costly compared to what is lost.

They took the truck and trailer?? That really sucks..

For the rest of us, would you mind sharing how you thought they were able to take the truck and attached trailer so we can try to defend against it?
