Why participate in the CanAm Challenge Weekend Club Race at CTMP ?

• Turn 4 - Blind high speed left hand off-camber turn taken full out with an elevation drop of 90 feet
• Two Words - Moss Corner

everyone should come and try this track if you never been. With the new facility, big parking space, electric hook up at some places and a very nice track

count me in!

I'm planning on it if my gearbox is rebuilt in time. I've never been before and have been trying to get a test day without success on either Wednesday or Thursday before the race weekend, any suggestions?

Thanks,

Joseph

I'll be there cause it's my home track, and frankly, there should be at least one "K" car, lol.

Hi Matt:

Yes my gearbox blew up at VIR, ring gear is the first thought, big chunks of metal on the drain plug. Only 20 hours since comprehensive rebuild. We'll see if the original builder stands by his work.

I checked with 6th Gear their August 5th track day is full.

If anyone who has raced at CTMP (MOSPORT) wants to chime in about their experience driving the track, please feel free to go ahead and do so. All racer endorsements would be appreciated

My home track as well, and I think you would have a tough time finding a racer who doesn't love it. You will get lots of opportunities to measure the size of your cojones

This is a Big Boy race track. It has 10 corners; five of them are in top gear and three of those are downhill, blind off-camber. Serious speed, pucker, donuts, Canadian beer and huge fun.

For non-racers this was a fantastic event. Went last summer for adv solo lapping held inbetween races.
Fantastic track and it's on my repeat list! Was disappointed to get an email the other day that adv solo lapping spots are sold out. Next year I'll sign up early.

Mosport is my #1 fave track of all time. It was fun watching the races and we received a very warm welcome from the Canadians.

Any recommendations on accommodations?
Looks like some lacrosse event has a lot of places booked solid.
Thanks.
