That is a major change...Piech has outmaneuvered many foes over the past twenty years, he is a literal board room killer ! Surprised he gave up so quickly...and that Ursula is no longer on the board either. Maybe he just wanted to retire but thought he needed to go down in flames? Agree, Audi or Lambo to F1 in 2017. Piech did build some cool sports cars in his day though, not sure how the F1 thing wil go down...Toyota threw billions at it and walked away, Honda, BMW the same.....
