Speed Limits? Next thing you know they will require a right seat and note from your Mom.

Move spectators away from danger zones and toss anyone that hops the spectator fence.

Yup. Seems pretty simple.

Too bad the hand-wringing bed-wetting pillow biters are running the show over there

If they want to reduce speeds on some portion of the track for racing...why not chicanes added to said area's ? Lime Rock did for ALMS after the uphiller.

so the cars sometimes get faster than the track can responsibly support and you change the track a bit. Add a bus stop to WGI. Sadly stop racing the banking at Monza. Cars change.

Those speed limits are ridiculous. There are places where with my street car I drove faster than those limits.... :/

For those of you who speak German:

For those of you who don't:

"We have no interest in racing with the handbrake on", says Eberhard Baunach. Therefore, his team Kremer Racing does not participate in the qualification race.

I agree. Cars outgrow tracks as technology progresses. We want to see faster and faster each year but at some point the tracks can't handle the cars for either driver or fan safety. Does it suck? Yes.
