In a voluntary field measure with regard to its racing seats RECARO Pole Position SPG (FIA) and RECARO Furious SPG (FIA), produced until November 2014, RECARO Automotive Seating has asked its end customers precautionary to refrain from using these seats. RECARO Automotive Seating had informed the international motorsports-authority FIA about this issue voluntarily and proactively. Subsequently FIA has revoked the homologation of the relevant seats.

I've spoken with both Germany and the US. They did not share what changed to fail certification now, but as you can see from the release, it is a potential failure of the seat, not just decision not to recertify.
They are attempting a retrofit kit, but their first attempt did not work out. I don't have any other information on timing or fix/replace.
Sucks.

Above being said, the person I spoke with is aware of Rennlist and is aware of the tight nature of Porsche owners and is aware they need to do the right thing once the right thing is discovered. He was as above board as he could be given he couldn't redesign the seat himself.
