Mattiaci figured out early enough that Ferrari needs to change in order to survive. And that change includes working with the other teams and not just waiting for Bernie's handout. Which irked the powers that be.

Arrivabene knows how to make deals behind closed doors and is friends with Bernie. But not how to run a F1 team.

As I said in the other thread, Ferrari is well on their way to mediocrity. Rory Byrne alone can't make it happen.

The Italian way. We make an offer you can't refuse...like in the good old days. If Ferrari couldn't succeed with present rules, the rules were to be changed.
