That actually looks very nice. To clarify, you haven't driven with it yet?

Patrick,

No, I just picked it up on Wednesday. I won't drive the race car again until sometime in February or March. The transmission is out having 3rd gear changed along with a general inspection.

Looks nice. This setup uses a standard (or RSR-type) flywheel?

Yes, a standard 915 (or equivalent) flywheel is used.

I think that looks very good and the price should reflect the quality. Good luck with it.

Me? My car is setup for a class that is intake and exhaust restricted and the power drops off after 6700 RPM. I have the rev limiter set at 7000 RPM for some over-rev in case I need it.

The 400+ HP GT2 car I mentioned previously revs to at least 8000 RPM.

Did a "test and tune" at Thunderhill today. The JWE clutch setup work quite well. I did not notice any operational difference between it at the Kennedy setup I ran previously. That is a good thing....

The Pumpkin has been running a Kennedy Stage 2 pp and disc for 2 years now. Have it out for an engine refresh and it looks brand new after 350+ track hours.

Good workout for the left leg as well. I have the G50 and associated hydraulic clutch set up and even with the hydraulic "assist" it is quite a change from a stock 930 set up.

The KEP Stage 2 pressure plate is rated for 700 ft/lbs of torque. The Stage 1 is rated for 550. Yes I bet your pedal pressure is brutal with that amount of clamping power.

Yes Gary, she is doing very well. Did the coil over conversion last year and have the engine out now of for a refresh before the 2015 season. Next off season will take a step up in struts/shocks/springs, maybe even a bit of lexan and cf for a weight reduction. Having a bit of trouble keeping up with my son in his LS1 944.

Pumpkin and I won NASA Central Division TT Rookie of the year plus 1st Place in TT3 for the Central Division.

Bob

BTW, you and your Subie would be welcome at any of the events (PCA, NASA) that I ran last year in the midwest.
