Default 991 GT America in car video from Sebring IMSA Test

Thought I would share an in car video of the 991 GT America on track at Sebring testing with Horton Autosport in preparation for the 2014 IMSA GTD season.

I don't see any "hang on for dear life" activity, is she that easy to drive?

Looks wicked fast!

Is the roof carbon fiber? And what are the holes in the roof for?

Thanks for sharing this. The car looks so planted in comparison to other in car videos I've seen from Sebring.

Nicely done Jason. Looks like a great car and I love seeing you drive it in such a fine way.
Oh, and I really love seeing that AiM Solo giving you what you need! :-)

I agree, he is obviously a very good driver but that car just seems to be on rails... on the bumpiest track in the US.

His hands looked fairly busy to me. They are hard to see, but he's make some pretty big corrections in the faster corners.

Also, this car is double wishbone (unless I'm mistaken on the GT America). It will handle much better than a McPherson strut car. And remember that everyone has Sebring files in the shaker rigs. I'm sure Porsche put the car through it's paces at Sebring before it ever left Germany.

The speed of the shifts is impressive. The car does look very stable even through turn 17. I remember thinking I was on two wheels through there a few years ago when I hit the bumps on the inside during the enduro.
