Default McNabb on Jimmy Johnson

OMG, he has no concept. Probably would say the same of F1 drivers.

Who really cares what McNabb thinks about auto racing...I don't even care about his current analysis of football, let alone racing.

As a serious long-time Eagles fan(I bleed green in the fall and winter), I wish McNabb was a better athlete and could have won at least one Super Bowl for us. The Eagles certainly, for many years, gave him the team to do it.

I wonder what he would say about fighter jet pilots?! "Just sit in a plane, not really doing anything athletically.."

LOL, isn't McNabb the guy that wasn't in good enough condition during the Super Bowl year? Correct me but wasn't he so out of shape he was throwing up?

Some of these drivers are tri-atheletes (maybe not the NASCAR drivers), but even the NASCAR drivers are in great condition. When was the last time McNabb swam, rode and ran?

What a fat slob. A pro should take him for ride- along during an endurance race. He will probably poop in his pants and pass out from the exhaustion of passing out too many times!!!

I am not even a NASCAR person, but of course Jimmy Johnson is an athlete. He's just a different type of athlete than the football player McNabb was. But he is an athlete. Dovovan McNabb is a pin-head for suggesting otherwise.

Some people, oddly, just continue to have a very narrow idea of what "athlete" means... i.e. run, jump, throw, swing, kick.

Drivers are just a different kind of neuromuscular athlete on top of having obviously (to us) baseline aerobic fitness.

Then again, some people are also just f*cking dumb. I coulda said that first.

This is one of the assumptions many not involved in performance driving environments carry. I put myself in that category before starting my slide down the slope. I used to put auto racing with golf and bowling as skill sports not requiring any athletic or aerobic abilities. After getting in a car and actually driving at speed my mind was changed entirely.

All one has to do is look at the evolution of NASCAR winning drivers over the decades. Sure, it used to be that out of shape guys could win races, but that ship has sailed, been scrapped, and was turned into trinkets a long time ago.

It's not rocket science nor does one have to have the reasoning power of Sherlock Holmes to figure it out.

He's just uneducated, plain and simple. Jimmie Johnson trains extremely hard but since people rarely see that side, they assume it doesn't happen.
