Default Daytona drivers school...!

Morning everyone, I wanted to make sure that everyone knows about an upcoming event at Daytona International Speedway..

The event is open to all vehicles, Audi, Porsche BMW, Corvettes, there are no restrictions, (with the exception of open top cars, sorry Boxsters and S2000 people) I currently have an Indy car registered to one of the instructors and their might even be two DP cars. lots of track time and the repaved track is as smooth as glass, transitions are perfect now and the apron is 10 feet wider since the repave..
Two hours of track time per Day, four 30 min sessions, two in the morning, two after lunch.

The event is on Motorsportreg.com, or mail in applications at the link below.
Single days are available..

Loading in on Thursday the 5th of December, on track 6th-8th of December...

We have the owners lot for Motorhomes, also Motorhomes can stay over on Sunday evening, leaving by Monday noon..

Any other questions just let me know..

Thanks,

DP

What an amazing place. And, the format of this event is very laid back, with lots of track time. I certainly recommend trying it.

Good question,

We will be running on the Rolex course for all three days, we also have all the garages, and the blue garage gas station will be open..

Bob Woodman will be there for tire support, and the Budweiser Biestro will be open for lunch during the event..
Host Hotel is the Hilton garden inn, right across the street, great rate, use Audi club when you contact them..
http://hiltongardeninn3.hilton.com/e...amenities.html

4 run groups, 2 instructor and 2 student, the fast instructor group is fast with some teams using the event for testing, actually last year Audi brought the R8 that ran in the 24 hours for shake down, first time it ran at Daytona was at the event last year..

Thanks for asking...

Just to be clear concerning the course we will be using, the Rolex course includes the infield and banking, same course that is used in the 24 hours of Daytona.... 3.54 miles

I do have transport available, from Beachwood Penske Porsche dealership in Beachwood Ohio, round trip from there to Daytona and back is looking like $900 RT, my first transporter is already full, working on the second one now. if you are serious let me know and I will add you to the list...

Its going to be great......!

Working on this if I can for some senior instructors.....

This looks like a cool event. I wish this year's budget wasn't spent.

$900 RT?!?!?! Isn't that roughly 2,000mi RT? So less than $0.50/mi? I need to move to Ohio.

Actually I think it is closer to 3000 miles round trip.. I have a great transport driver, his family has a condo down there, stays there, comes to the track for rides, I take him up to the spotters nest, give him the VIP treatment, begs me to do it almost... So he gives us great pricing on transport ..
