Terribly sad news. Ted was always such a calm, friendly, and helpful presence.

I was lucky enough to get a ride with him in his GT3, but never had the privilege to have him in my right seat.

R.I.P. Ted. You will be missed.

OH NO!!!! What happened? Ted was always so welcoming and he too was one of my first instructors at TWS. Once he gave me a ride in his red 965 and it was really memorable. This is really sad... RIP Ted, Kalo Taxidi.

Ted showed me the shortest way around TWS. Especially Turn 10, going counter clockwise, he showed me how to hug the inside of that turn.
I will miss Ted's calm nature and wit.

This is saddening news. Ted was always someone you loved seeing at the track again.

My condolences go out to his family and the entire LSRPCA crew.

I never had the pleasure of having him in my car but I have spent many hours around him at the track and in meetings. He will be missed.

I just hate all the receint posts about deaths in our community.

Was this expected?

Terribly sad news. I was fortunate to have him in the right seat for a few sessions in March at TWS, in fact my last time at TWS since we have moved to NC. What a terrific individual and a fantastic instructor who taught me how to really drive the GT3. He will be missed.

He will be missed for his calm demeanor and dry wit. I had the pleasure of him instructing me and taking me for a ride. As I was often the one not in the race.

Ted's driver's meeting quotes:

"The blue flag means there's a race going on, and you're not in it."

"God didn't put that Miata behind you. He's there because he's faster than you. Let him by"

"Our definition of an accident is when a meteor drops out of the sky and lands on your car. All other incidents are somebody's fault."
