I would love to get some hot laps behind the wheel of one of these. The only danger there would be that then I would want to buy it...

I will trade you some hot laps in my Gen 1 for a new LSD. How's that?

Great to see these cars being built BTW.

Cheers,

Cheers,
The only problem is that I don't want to buy one at this time. I've got this terrible habit of flipping in and out of cars like most girls change shoes. I only picked up my '86 Carrera 3 months ago and am going to try to keep it for a while.

When Subaru brought the WRX and STi to the states, I was daily driving a 225bhp 2.5RS Impreza that I had built. I refused to test drive the new cars because I knew I would want one. I made it all the way to 2008 before I ever got behind the wheel of one. 15 minutes later I owned one. I will have a Cayman in the garage in the next couple of years, but I won't drive one until I am ready to buy. I know myself and I'll do stupid and crazy things to get into one once I've tasted the sweet nectar of what they really offer.

BMR,

The cars look fantastic and I agree with many who say that they are very happy more guys are advancing the Mid Engine Cayman and to a lesser degree the Boxster. I built my Boxster S full race car in 2003 and it has giving me great moments through the last 7 years. Converting to a 3.6L in '06.

I've told everyone, if I could have done a Cayman the way we built the Boxster way back then I definitely would have. Good Luck with the builds/sales.

Its your way or the Interseries way for me in the future.
