Default Source for Headlights: 911 Race Car

Hi Peeps,
I am going to do the HSR Daytona Classic this year. I heard it was specatcular event last year ( its first). Need to add some lighting to my car. It has regular turbo light buckets in fg aftermarket fenders, no wiring. Can anyone suggest a reasonably painless solution. Flourescent , high intensity , or LED. whatever,
Thanks.

FRank

BTW I am told the full 24hr Rolex course is pretty well lighted.. so i suppose its mostly for other cars seeing me.

To be more specific, that is aircooled, 88 930 style fenders and buckets.

You will need lights to see, not just to be seen. Try an LED Light Bar and mount it on your front bumper or at the bottom of your trunk lid. Not pretty but removable and easy to install.

See you there!

I ran across these the other day when I was looking for something for off road. Look pretty solid and have good reviews. No personal experience.

I just installed these in my car. The pattern is a bit unusual and the cutoff is not sharp but they throw a lot of light.

Where one normally sources high performance Porsche racing parts- EBay. Do a search on LED headlights.

I ran this event last year. The track is extremely well lit. It is not like running sebring at night. You literally could do the track without headlights. Here a clip from practice:
