Default To the max!!

“You have to be brave there. Eau Rouge used to be scary. Qualifying was very special. Just flat. Just maximum speed. The g forces were so high, going sideways and also vertically. Everything maximum. You really need big ***** in that corner.”

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough. Mario Andretti
If you wait, all that happens is that you get older. Mario Andretti

After this flipping a car high in the air at Indy during testing, a local reporter (not the one in this video) asked him what went through his mind when he hit the debris on the track. He said "oops".

^My understanding is that might have started with Hurly Haywood.

Thanks! Yes, I think Hurley was the originator of that one. I use it regularly!

I had two private events a month apart from each other with Terry thanks to a generous client friend who took a group of 12 or more of us to Sebring and race the Skip Barber open wheel cars, I always remember his class room quote which I heard many a times before but it was his illustration on the board that made it so funny saying "understeer is hitting the wall with the front of car, over steer is hitting the wall with the back of your car, hp is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you go through the wall" so I don't want to hear anybody out there saying " hey you-all watch this"! Great time

Quote from what I can remember from an old special I watched on the indy 500...

Looking at lap times it became obvious that the leader of the race was losing time to the 2nd place car.

Crew Cheif "We are losing a second a lap to the 2nd place car we need you to pick it up alittle"

Leading car "Boost set to maximum, foot flat on the floor. I reckon that is fast as she is going to go"
