Anyone else notice that the Hew Haven Register article was edited today? Earlier in the day it reported Greg Loles was the one in charge of the missing money. Now it says they don't want to name who it was, but it says that person "hasn't been seen for days" or something similar. Now, I know some folks are flying out today for the Porsche Motorsports banquet in Germany, so perhaps he was already on his way there. Or perhaps he really has gone missing. This is getting interesting indeed.

Also, there's a lot of noise, but a few posts in the comments on that Register article are from parishoners of the church. One still does mention "Loles" and another says "Gregory L..." as the person responsible. Yet another says he was a highly respected PCA member.

I guess I just find it odd that a newspaper published a name on the website and then later took it back off. I'd think the ONLY way they would do that is if it hindered the investigation (and even then, well, newspapers have been known to stand by something) or if they thought they might be wrong.

yea you hit that on the head...sad news for what was going to be an interesting year. And I just read that porsche sales are up 18% inthe states. If they are true to form they'd roll that rsr right back into FLs garage and let them run it as a one off factory effort... Not like they'll be rubbing any privateers the wrong way..vw still has plenty of cash left over anyway...

Maybe Johnny O will be back racing himself around again in GT2...this blows

I'm quite sure they will take your deposit, I heard they took several previously and just didn't bother ordering the cars!

Too bad Greg L's alleged suicide attempt didn't take, but some times the second one is the charm.

I hear they have a handful of 2010s in the shop because customers renigged on the deals for no reason... oh wait, I think it might be the other way around FL taking the money from customers without even ever ordering the cars from PMNA... i am confused now...

Anyway, please call me if you see interesting stuff for small money...

Gary, let's rendez-vous at the local Dennys in 3 hours. Wear black. I will bring the cam stick. We're going in to get the motors and whatever we can take. Bring your trailer (empty).

On a more serious note, what happens with all the customer cars on site for service or storage? What about the cars without titles (race cars)? Will they be seized as well?

This has been a long time coming. It will only get worse as he Feds dig deeper.
Let's not forget all of the racing customers he stole from.
I really feel for the guys in Danbury and Atl.
They were/are hard working and honest.
