AMB Transponder for Sale
I'm selling my spare transponder. It is an AMB TranX 260 for road racing, time trials, etc.
It comes with a charger and mount. I just used it two weeks ago at Willow Springs with the Porsche Owners Club. Battery is strong and lasted for 5 plus days on a single charge.
These now sell for $420.00 on the AMB site. I'm asking $275.00 for this one plus minimal shipping.

I didn't know about the AMB stuff you refered to.
This transponder has never been registered with MyLaps as far as I know. I have used it with at least 3 clubs. All you do is give the number when you register. All laps are posted after the run groups so you can see where you are.
If MyLaps is an issue and you want the transponder I'm sure I can register it for you? This is a great deal if you want to avoid the expense, hassel, and risk of renting everytime you go to an event. When you rent you don't get on MyLaps as far as I know.

If the number has never been registered you are good to go. If it has been registered it will still work just fine at all your events, you just won't have full access to Mylaps (same case with rental transponder).
