Default A wheel issue-

Ok so my car has 10x17 front and 12x17 BBS modulars on it now. With the range and availability of 17" tires to fit somewhat lacking I am looking for options. What I have come up with is
A) sell the 17's, have a new set of 18's built. Downside is this will cost me somewhere between $3-4K. Im not entirely opposed to this, but its a hard pill to swallow at this time.
B ) Build or find another set of 17's, deal with the tire issue for a year or so until I have 18's built or find a set or two used.
C) sell the 17's, buy a set or two Forgeline, Kinesis, CCW, etc and call it a day.

So any input? Anyone dealt with this sort of thing recently? Anyone out there have a set of 18" centers laying around? Anyone want a reasonably priced set of 17's? Or maybe have a set of 17's for sale at a good price?

Could you have some custom wheel halves for 18" tires built around your 17" centers?

Do you want to run DOT tires or slicks?

The BBS uses two different centers- one makes 15/16/17in wheels and the other makes 18+ wheels. EDIT- BBS did make some 18" Rim halves that fit the 17" center, and so while I MIGHT be able to find some 18" rim halves with the proper bolt pattern Im not holding my breath.

My car is currently set up to run slicks, but I am not opposed to running DOT's in the future.

Check with Ryan Joengblood at Joengblood (sp?) Racing/Wheels. I know they have wheel halve to fit BBS centers.
