Track Schedule shows only Florida Crown at RR so far- whats coming up early in the New Year in the SE? I'm thinking RA (PCA has no Jan event this year it appears), Barber, CMP and even TGP and thinking beyond just PCA events- BMW? Audi? Hyundai??

If you know of anything please pass it on.

Most regions don't have January events. However, registration for Feb. and on can open up as early as Dec. or January.

I know- that's why the Peachstate event in Jan will be missed by many- including me.
Maybe because it snowed last year. Does Hoosier make R rated snows?!

I've emailed CMP- they have not posted for 2009 yet but seem to always have something going on there- even Jan and Feb. I'll post their response.

Not a big fan of RR- neither the drive to, nor the track and facilities- but any port in a storm.
If I can't find anything else I may come down.

"Right now the only dates for D.E. with Turn One Track Events or Palmetto Motorsports Club in Jan or Feb are the weekends of Jan 17 & 18, Feb 7 & 8. NASA-SE Feb 14 & 15. CR-PCA Feb 28 & March 1. "

Florida Citrus puts on a nice event at RR in February(Valentine weekend?) and usually has a couple of recently run Daytona cars there to oogle at.

Yes, they sure do....this past year the Citrus RRR Event was the same weekend as the Daytona 500...which made the drive home around I-4 and I-95 intersection "interesting" just as the race was finishing. Will plan better in 2009.
