Post which is the best telemetry system?

Hello,

I am looking at installing a race-telemetry system in my 993 GT2 spec racer. The engine is MOTEC controlled. Question is, is the MOTEC telemetry system worth the money or getting one of the less expensive systems will do the job?

I mainly want RPM, brake, steering angle and maybe an accelerometer. The software to read all this stuff just has to be able to plot the data with respect to time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Any system can record data. The only value of the system is in your ability to use and interpret the data to improve your car and driving. The analysis software (which varies greatly from system to system) is therefore the key to the value of a system.

Check out the CDS system at www.competitiondata.com

It is used by hundreds of professional and club racers, and of course I have one in my 89' 911.
