the shifter looks like it would be kinda alkward, being that high

I thought the same and it does looks awkard, but from the steering wheel your hand falls naturally to the shifter.

Love it in Black!

I bet the shifter is nice up high - I drove a 70's alfa spyder as a teenager and it had a very similiar layout.

I bet I'd be right at home!

I covered a secondary unveiling of the Ferrari 456 a bunch of years ago in a "suburb" of Belgium. Very, very memorable experience!
