Default Has anyone installed a Passport 9500ci in a CGT?

So I just got a CGT. It's so fun I know one of the first items on the agenda needs to be a good radar detector hardwired in. I used to put V1's in everything, but I've grown tired of the constant stream of false alarms kicked off by other vehicles proximity detectors. Infinitys and Audis are particularly guilty. I put a Passport 9500ci in my 12C and it's been great. False alarms are greatly reduced, and it has a laser jammer. The display is actually integrated into the mirror. I'd like to put one in my CGT as well, but don't want to do anything invasive or irreversible like drilling holes in critical places.

What have you guys done for radar detectors in your CGTs?

I would use a window based detection for now. The newer technology being released by Passport in their max 360 etc has not trickled down yet to their stealth install units. Laser jammers are still okay but Dragon Eye is wreaking havoc on those units too. A simple cord install run from a direct power source dropping down by your rear view mirror should work. Once technology drips down, then you can revisit.

I have tested the Max 360 against 9500ci installs in my cars and it's pickup time has been anywhere from 15-45 seconds quicker depending on location of the trooper. I have quad heads installed in my raptor's front grill and the 360 is always earlier in its alerts for Ka.
