Default The most interesting/exciting/covetable Porsche for sale in the world today

I really couldn't decide where to post this, as it could fit into any forum here, but I like this one and it doesn't seem to get enough action.

My purpose here is to keep a running record of the coolest, rarest, most desirable Porsches for sale publicly. All you need to do is post a link to your choice and a bit about why it qualifies in your opinion.

Let's have some fun!

My opener:

http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/de...0&pageNumber=1

One of only 14 993 Turbo Cabs ever built, so as rare as can be. Color combination is rich and understated, just right for this wolf in sheep's clothing. Last of the old-school iterations doesn't hurt either.

See you back here soon I hope with lots of great posts.

Euro is going through a bit of a crisis right now.

I get it but I don't get it...so the cabs were built via the exclusive program? No performance mods but the car is worth 9-10X what a similar miles coupe?

Rarity for the sake of it vs rarity because the car is special/ homologated...

The closest to a pure racing car that you can buy and use on a (nice) road.

I don't like the 993Turbo cab. It's not a proper 993 TT as it uses a 964 Turbo 3.6 engine.

in case you have not noticed people have lost their minds... or more than that there is a new breed of new money semi modern collectors that don't understand the difference between the 2 categories you mention. there is a technical terms for this new breed, "morons"

According to some posts I saw on Instagram the 959 that was "formerly of the Lingenfelter Collection" is for sale at Marshall Goldman.

If this is true (and why would anybody doubt anything that is posted on Instagram, although it does seem a bit fishy that the car isn't listed on MG's site) it would get my vote for the most interesting/exciting/covetable Porsche for sale in the world today.

The 959 is historically much more important, but after seeing them up close and side by side the GT 1 Strassenversion is much more interesting/covetable in my opinion.

A brand new 964 Turbo S "Leichtbau":
http://www.pannhorst-classics.com/en...il/?car_id=470

On the 86 cars produced, very few are in the real light configuration (no AC, power steering, radio), and even less are fitted with a roll cage (leather covered) from the factory.

Then, this one has only 114km (71 ml...), and that is a shame for such a car but an opportunity for a real collector.
