Considering Selling my CGT
I am the original owner of a Silver / Black '04 CGT with a little over 9K miles. Because of a business opportunity I am considering selling my car. As many on here know I thought I would have this car for the rest of my life and have never driven anything close!
I have had all service done at two local Porsche dealers here in Michigan. I have not had the engine out service mainly because I didn't feel it was necessary and didn't feel comfortable with the local dealers. I have changed tires twice, battery twice, new coils and plugs, many fluid changes etc...
If I have the engine out done, I would feel much more comfortable shipping the car out to a dealer that had done quite a few of them.
I have a couple questions for the forum:
1. Would it be worthwhile to have the engine out done before selling?
2. At what point would it be worthwhile to switch the clutch on the engine out service. For example if when they do the engine out the clutch still have 1/2 left would it be worth changing it out?
3. What is a 1 owner no story U.S. car worth with luggage, cover, etc...?

I think the engine and clutch thing is silly.
You are the original owner - the CGT is good to go for sale.
The buyer will most likely want it sent in for a PPI after you agree on a price - then it's just a matter of working out who pays for what.
Base it on the other fully serviced CGT's for sale - deduct 20k and 5 - 10.00 per mile after 3000.
Hope you hit the 7's - being a one owner is a VERY big deal.
Good Luck.
