I am hoping to have it this month. The car is getting polished and having the Porsche lettering and stripes applied next week.

Very very cool to see it practically done.

How would you rate the experience of purchasing a car like this and then being updated during the build process as opposed to buying a new car? I know with most new cars there is a sense of immediacy and "newness".

The buying experience has been excellent overall. The time element is really no different then waiting for a new model once you know it is coming. How long have some of us been waiting for the new to be announced GT2RS? My car took a while longer because I opted for the carbon brakes and I needed to wait for the development to be right. I had an idea what specs I wanted when I decided to commission the car, so when I visited the shop it all came together quickly as far as all the details. I have been updated via email and phone every two weeks or so. They have a client portal with photos of the complete build being constantly updated which is great. As a fortunate car enthusiast who has both road and race Porsches this car just ticks all the right boxes for me. When people ask me which of my cars I would keep if I could only have one I always pick the CGT because it feels special and this feels the same way to me.

Rotors are from Surface Transforms, Calipers are Brembo. I will have it in February. They are going to show it at some events the next two weeks.

Yes they fix anything that doesn't work. Official warranty like a new car I don't think so. At least I wont have to rely on a service rep to decide if the problem came from manufacturer.

thanks for letting us now; do you have to ship it back to Singer for warranty work?
