That is fantastic! Porsche should be very proud.
After seeing top gear review I could see myself driving one.
Altough I do not think i could get over parking a million dollars in public spaces... lol
I think as cool as the sound, performance and design is, my favorite part about the car is how you can drive around the city in electric mode! Just freaky cool!

Not really. The car sale websites have some automated process for listing cars once they are entered into the VIN database. I found my car for sale at list on cars.com (my dealer sold two, only one of which matches my configuration-the ad was an exact match on the car, options, msrp and dealer). But she's not for sale.
Well, heck, at Whoopy's price you can buy just about any item I own.

Be interesting to see what the used market will do. Porsche had a hard time selling these out. A great car, I have driven one.
I am sure most of the buyers of this car don't really care about resale.

I think there's enough of a waiting list to absorb dealer cars (if any are still around) and guys that may back out in the future. I already had one unsolicited offer at 1.25M for my car. If they were easy to come by, I don't think that would happen.

I have no skin in the 918 but there are cars going to dealers with no owner.

If that was a real offer I would take it. IMO opinon they will be available at a discount soon.

If they do indeed drop by more than normal, I would not hesitate to buy a second one. Pretty sure a few other owners also feel the same way, one to keep and one to drive.
It is already not that expensive to begin with, the MSRP is just about equal to both my FF and F12 together, and if it drops to 50% like some people are saying, it's a no brainer to pick one up for the price of a nicely loaded F12, the 918 is so much more car than the Ferrari.
Don't forget, the CGT has set the floor for the 918 at around 500-600k. So if the 918 drops to that level, the CGT will drop down by quite a bit too. Demand and supply also dictates that if the 918 do top that low, it will be very attractive to a lot of people and they will start bidding the cars back up.

I took it on a canyon run with the 991 GT3 Rennlisters today. The car is freaking amazing! Pins your head to the seat -- literally, not figuratively -- under acceleration, sticks like glue in high speed corners, and handles transitions and tight corners like a much lighter, RWD car. To top it off, the car rides flawlessly on the highway all the way home.
