OK, not the real one, but looks like PCNA decided to send me this awesome glass model of a 918... perhaps because they felt bad that mine won't get built until summer of 2015



the "918 Spyder" plaque on the front actually has my name engraved. kind of cool...

Interesting, yours doesn't have a VIN on the plaque either.

FWIW, my 918, the real thing, arrived in LA on Thursday. But that last 60-70 miles to North San Diego County is taking longer than I had anticipated.

was it air freighted? my 991 GT3 is getting air freighted next week and i am curious if you knew the tail number of the plane your car was on?

Not sure what you mean by tail number. The 918 was air freighted on KLM flight KL601 this past Thursday.

My GT3 arrived by boat at the Port in SD today. No idea where it is either, but it's early in the case of the GT3.

I ordered one car, have two of the Crystal models with my name and limitation on them, I suspect there was some confusion early on. I also received two pairs of gloves with the limitation and a black fountain pen with the limitation and 918 logo etched in green, and a bunch of other crap.

For $250 you can have your own with your own picture. About 7"x5"x3", damn heavy too.
