Do you pay tax over the 500k pounds in UK or prices include taxes? What is the tax amount/percentage in UK?

For a uk car now with full history and in perfect condition, plaices start at 575 GBP that buys you a car with 10k mileage and in great condition.. 2k mileage cars in in the 600-700 bracket depending on colour spec, again if you can find one.. There are cheaper cars, normally imports, that have a random service records. these are around the 500 bracket..
I hope this helps
I know of a car that may be coming too market through Dick Lovetts Ferrari dealers.

Downside is fewer will be driven - upside we can drive / appreciate them with no depreciation

Why aren't the ones for sale in the US being exported?

Those prices are a little high but I agree in principle

They are but for example to import to UK
You have to change headlamps , radio system , sometimes droplinks . Your bumpers have indicators so they get changed and then there's import duty and the history is harder to check from here . At first many got imported but not many now

The car that I heard off is a 2000 mile, 1 owner Uk car , black with black interior, service records are perfect and is a glass box example, prized out off a small collection of special porsches.
Car is going too be around 700 GBP, have signed memorabilia with design team and Walter Rohrl.

From about 450/500 k gbp onwards ( including tax) you can get a decent car . Obviously special cars like that described by msn911 they will try to get a lot more for .
I have helped several friends and a couple of strangers find Cgt in UK recently .

What is the tax rate in UK? When you buy a car in UK, do you pay a sales tax again or sales tax is included in the price?

Agree.

Doom you know as much perhaps more about the CGT but why the extra signal in the bumper - seems there would be no downside.

Somewhat optimistic pricing.

Has been discussed on the other thread and on UK forums.

UK market being talked up to frenzy levels.

The car for 575K not sold after about 3 weeks of advertising.

You can ask what you like for the cars but what is actually paid? Most owners of these cars do not need to sell and are very happy to advertise at inflated prices to see what happens. I've already mentioned private sellers advertising for up to 695k GBP and the car apparently selling within days.. Or showing as sold.

One sold for 320K GBP two days ago. I'll post the link on the next post. 2000 miles, Porsche Reading serviced.

This is the reason why US cars not being exported in numbers because you can't sell them for 500K GBP.

As promised.

May well not be a genuine UK original car but look at the asking price of 320K GBP as compared to the near 600 being quoted on this thread.

As regards US to UK spec conversion is probably around 5K for front bumper if you don't like the side markers plus 4K for front headlights. Rear bumper doesn't need to be replaced just fog light changed. The red LEDs in the tail lamps can be changed for orange ones for less than the 4k needed for new rear lamps. However if you go to Porsche reading the only official UK service agents they will insist on all of this work be done.ie new front and back bumpers, front and rear lights.
