Default Help on a US CGT car

Hello guys, I'm currently looking at a CGT in Italy, originally a US car, imported in Germany few years ago and now owned by an Italian chap.

I know the history of the car since landing in Europe, but would like to check if there is anything I should know of the previous history.

Car looks nice, had it inspected very briefly...just need to decide if I want to go the extra step and get a proper "all panels out" inspection, I would clearly avoid that in case there is any accident report in the US

Vin number is WP0CA29865L001285

Car is red with black interior

Many thanks,
Max

Safest bet is a car from Germany.

History a bit difficult to trace in Italy, but then I see from your profile you are based in Milan as well as London so you are best placed to perform due diligence.

Further to the other thread are you getting it for a good price

You can go on carfax.com and get a history of the car while in US.

Thanks a lot! Was more looking to see if the chassis number was known in the CGT circles. Will have a Carfax done shortly.
