Nice pics posted of all the 959 from Canepa facility. Anybody that gives him a car to work on needs their head examined. Next time you are there you should ask him what happened to car # VIN: WP0ZZZ95ZJS900288, would love to hear his story ! hopefully he never found a sucker for this one

Well lets just say I am not saying that one of his techs crashed a 959 then tucked it away for 2 years repaired it and put it back on the market for a world record price with no disclosure of the accident, but then again I am not saying that did not happen !

ah, no
It was certified to CARB standards and that is different from Federalization.
CARB certified is more valuable only because they can legally be inspected in CA but the cars run like crap.
The 21 year EPA rule (25 for DOT) does not extend to CA cars.

There is a remarkable photo in existence somewhere. Canepa must have it. 6 959's parked in the parking lot with other more "common" cars as tho they were just common workers or visiters cars. I don't know how long they were parked there or whether it was staged but it was the day of the Bruce Anderson Tribute Celebration. I saw 'em but it never occurred to me to take a photo. Gaff!

My world was blessed with gorgeous weather this Sunday. As soon as I saw the forecast I decided that this Sunday morning would be '959 Morning'. I got up early for a -ahem, ahum- 'spirited' drive in the countryside. I removed the dust and the bugs with soap and water after I came home. The kids were just about to wake up by the time the 959 was dry and back in the garage. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning.

There is a similar story either on here somewhere or Pelican where he sold a 993 TT with crash history and never disclosed it.
