CGT owners, check your rear spoiler!!!
After being very concerned about the high speed (mid three figure) handling on bumpy roads in my CGT, I've found a potential issue with the rear spoiler malfunctioning.
Over the last weekend I've had a warning on the OBD for 'rear spoiler malfunction' and when I've checked the spoiler, it's clear it's not extending fully on the drivers side. The handling traits have been exhibited since I started using the car this year in early April with no warning on the OBD.
This would explain why the car has adopted a corkscrew motion at very high speed, I've recently change to brand new Pilot Sport Cup 2 and the alignment was completed only a 1000 miles ago. It was a very unnerving sensation to say the least, and very glad I seem to have established the route cause.
Car is being collected and taken to Porsche Cars at Reading on Thursday and I'll report back in due course.
Just a heads up for people to check their rear spoiler is working correctly!!!
Cheers

the rear spoiler of mine has been repaired twice for the same issue. They first thought the hydraulic fluid was low but then found there was hydraulic leak of some sorts.

On the Cup 2 I'm running 265 Front and 345 rear. The 345 has just become available and I've run PSS in 345 before with no issue (prior to the OEM 335 being produced).

Oh happy day!!! I'm running 345 MPSS in the back as well. I like the small improvement in rear grip that 345 can offer. I can't wait until I can get them over here!

I tried to raise the wing manually. It did go up all the way but gave me an error signal in the dash and the red light for the wing came on. Is there a malfunction with the wing?

Certainly sounds like it. The solution to the problem I had was to have the two rams replaced as they were not holding pressure.
