That hits close to home, although I race model cars, I don't collect them. Passions are the same though, thanks for posting!

I keep thinking if I should have 10000 Porsche toys instead of one real Porsche...

Somewhere some Hot Wheels collector is having a coronary with all of those cars being out of the box.

That is one amazing collection, I too would love to see it.

Really cool indeed. Now I don't feel like I've wasted money and time with my meager collection of cars/planes. Feel like I have so much further to go! Thanks for sharing.

Do you not like your 85 928S? I'm curious; as a past, 3-time 911 (air-cooled) car owner, I switched to a BMW M5, (a 92 E334) then found a pristine, triple black 928S 5-speed with 44k in Florida. Could not resist buying it. But that was 6 months ago, which is how long it has taken a local shop in Daytona to get the A/C working, fix a gremlin in the oil level sensor, and then discover that the MAS was kaput.

So I haven't yet really driven it. I live in a hilly, rural part of northeast Pa. with great driving roads, where I enjoy my M5 greatly. Hoping the '85 928S will be as much fun to drive. never see any around (or anywhere, else, for that matter.)
