Finally finished re-assembly of the UT model.

Photo below with the real thing. I need to shoot it again with my DSLR to get them both in focus. But, meanwhile this will do.

Again, my thanks to ZMan & FrenchToast for their help on this project.

Thanks. Some detailing could have been better: Euro side lights removed, White gauges instead of black. But, ... And, I still need to create & install nose & tail logos. While doing that, I'll do my license plate too.

Model is pretty accurate to OE Euro appearance. While I have gone more monochromatic with the 1:1 scale car and added Carrera III wheels, I use the OE Speedline wheels occasionally & the UT wheels are accurate to them. If I have to change back to OE black grille and bumperettes, I kept the originals & they can be changed pretty quickly.

Have a great Labor Day over there.

BTW, have you heard about the European car show Sept 21 at Lagerhaus Brewery on East Lake? I'll be there with both Targas.

Thanks Edib. I'm not a model collector, per se, but I have a handful (mostly 1/18 scale die cast Buragos -- Ferraris generally).

I am trying to obtain models of a few of the cars I've personally owned...
~1983 Alfa Romeo spider (red over black)
1984 Ferrari 308 GTS QV (black / black)
2004 BMW M3 convertible (silver over black)

And my new acquisition and current car - 2010 911 Carrera 4 S cabrio (black... picture below)

On the off chance you have one of these, I might be interested. I could also be interested in maybe getting something neat that I haven't personally owned, and your models seem to be quite nice...

Thanks! Beautiful models -- I'm going to pass on these primarily due to space constraints, but I'm curious, I saw in the background of your pictures a number of Ferrari models -- any of those for sale?

And yes, I did have the S2R -- I miss that bike so much! But on the flip side I now have a much happier wife and two little kids who don't run away from me in terror anymore when I pull into the driveway on that Monster in full black leathers head to toe :-)

Cheers -- and keep the shiny side up!
