Ok here some pic's of my 10 year old's two favourite cars both by AUTOart.
I know the second picture isn't a Porsche but had to post to show off the amazing detail on these things.

Yellow car is a 993 Supercup race car by Burago, underside says it is a 1993 model, but that doesn't seem right as I think the Supercup 993's came out in 1995 (but I could be wrong)
Red & Silver car is also a 993 Supercup car, a GT2 CS Carrera, but by UT Models
Red car is a 1989 911 Speedster by Maisto

This is Kewell!
Folks, I have a 1/43 model of every auto I've ever owned except my current 996 GT3 MK2.
I paint them and detail them to be exact models of my original.
Anybody have a 996 GT3 Mk2 model they want to or are able to part with?
Please PM me.
Thanks!

Recognize the VS-33 Screwbird patch in the background of the red & silver model? I flew S-3 Vikings out of NAS North Island for 4 years in the late '80's -early '90's. Really miss living in San Diego (especially this time of the year!).

Here's a couple 1/43 scale Porsches that I have. These are vintage "toys" from the 70's and not sold as "collectables". Manufactured when toys weren't all made in China.
Politoys Porsche 912 (Made in Italy)
Solido Porsche GT LeMans (Made in France)
Politoys Porsche 917 (Made in Italy)

Here are some pics of the model my parents gave my youngest son for Xmas.
It happens to be sitting in my office at the moment (no, I did not take it from him, I bought a 1:18 model of a Ferrari 458 last week when I was in Italy for me, and he traded me this on a temporary swap basis).

I'm in the process of assembling a similar collection (although in 1:18 scale in my case). I am outsourcing the customization work to a gentleman whose skills vastly exceed mine but it is taking a little while since he is quite busy. I sent him a lot of pictures and detailed notes and he is making the cars very close to the actual model that I own or owned. Still waiting on 3 more cars and the collection will be complete. I think it is very nice having something tangible to remember the cars I had to let go.
