Brake job costs?
Has anyone done a full brake service at a dealer? I need pads and rotors all around and they are quoting $2900?
Parts seem to add up to $1200 so it seems crazy.

Are you sure you need rotors? Unless you take it to a track, it's hard to see how that would be the case, given how new Macans are. How many miles on current rotors? $1200 for parts seems about right for list prices with no discount (can get much cheaper if buying online or non-oem), but pads last 2-4 years and rotors at least 2x what pads do, so not a huge deal over such a long time. Labour should be 2-3 hours at most (takes me 2 hours, and I have to jack the car up manually)

I got quoted $690 for mine...methinks you need a second opinion.

When I upgrade the brake pads on my macan S, is there anything that needs to be "reset" in the computer? or are the Macan's brake pads changed like any other brake pad for any regular ole car?

Definitely not PCCB...from what I recall, PCCB is a 5-figure job.

Seems too rich. PM me, I use to live in the DC area and have a few shops I know that do good work for a reasonable price.

I ended up around $2500 all said and done. I price checked suncoast and the parts from there ran about $1200. I figured the right number was $2000 ish but they also treat us and our garage really well so I didn't squabble too much.
