Rear headrest removal?
Sorry for what might be a stupid question but I did search before asking...
My GT4 is at the dealer for the annual service and they gave me a 2017 Macan as a loaner. I expected to dislike this vehicle but truth is... I actually really like it.
As a loaner, there's no owner's manual in the glove box. I've got the car for a week (my dealer is a hike and really cool about me dropping off my car on a weekend and scheduling pickup the next weekend to facilitate what would otherwise be a crap commute) and the one thing that's driving me nuts is the rear visibility. I can't figure out how to remove the rear headrests.
I could fold the seats down but I have to believe these things are removable.
I'm hoping someone here can help.
Thanks in advance.

Get the free Porsche "Good to Know" app, which is basically an interactive owner's manual. Maybe it's covered there. I don't know the answer as I've never removed the rear headrests.

I also don't know if the rear headrests can be removed as I've never tried to do it. I just lowered them to the lowest position and got used to it. It quickly became "normal" to me in this vehicle.
But congratulations on enjoying your loaner. I remember back in '05 or '06 doing PDE (now PSDS) at Barber and the autocross course was done with Boxsters. All of the old-school 911 guys were unhappy about this -- If it wasn't a 911 it wasn't a "real" Porsche. Until they took their first turn around the track in a Boxster. Eyes lit up. Why did no one tell me about this thing? Of course they were being told for years, but none of them there on that day had been paying attention.
It's a very rare thing for Porsche to make a bad car today. I might not leap ahead with my money at first, but I'll keep an open mind about whatever they decide to build.

Need4S provided me with the answers I needed as the loaner didn't have an owners manual and the app wasn't loading properly for me.
Again, thanks everyone.
