I think you will be fine in a Macan. I am a longtime 911 guy but a Macan S is currently the complement to a Ferrari in my garage, and I enjoy driving it. I like it a lot more than a previous Audi Q5 and Allroad. I tried out a Jaguar XF sedan briefly but did not like that at all and ditched it. I don't think the Jaguar SUV will be as good as the Macan is.
