Went to pick up my new 16 Cayenne GTS and drove home in my new 17 Macan GTS
I had made up my mind, my new winter DD was going to be a new, untitled '16 Rhodium Silver Cayenne GTS. The spec was very nice, including the 21in Sport Techno wheels and the deal was terrific.
What happened then? I saw the Macan GTS in person and I loved its "stance" much more aggressive in person than in the pictures. Then to drive one, it is definitely more sport, than utility, its not a 911 for sure but it does get down the road beautifully, the sports exhaust and sport/sport plus mode definitely gives it the sound and performance (although keeping it under 5000 RPM for the first 500 miles). The interior/exterior is definitely more sculpted than the Cayenne, the PCM is way better than the previous version, and what sealed the deal for me was that my road bike fits inside, with the seats down with no trouble, I live in the city and the smaller size will be easier to navigate and I saved some cash on a DD that I actually liked better than the Cayenne GTS.
1-better looking IMO
2-plenty powerful (quicker than the CGTS to 60)
3-saved $ over the CGTS on a DD that I actually like better and is a better fit of the city.
Black, Leather Package in Black/Garnet, Trailer hitch, Carbon Fiber Sport Steering wheel-heated,Roof Rails Black,Seat Ventilation, Carbon Fiber Interior Package, Navigation, Dials in Garnet Red, LKA/LCA, LED Headlights/PDLS, Adaptive Cruise/PAS, Smoking Package, Porsche Connect Plus, 14 ways seats, Sport Chrono Package, Clock in Garnet Red, Premium Package Plus, 86,460 MSRP

Great looking Macan. Good decision! I'm in the opposite boat. Loved my Macan but had to sell for more room for growing family. Should go get that CGTS you passed on!

Love it! Congrats and enjoy!!!
And it looks like the one I am waiting for (est. November 1 arrival). One question: you mention your road bike fits inside? Can you put it in there and post a picture please? Having it fit is contrary to everything else I've read (they say it cannot be done!).

Thank you so much. My 56 BMC GF01 should fit no problem either then! Outstanding! Thanks again!!!
And at 6'1", sounds like the sunroof won't be a long-term headroom issue either.
