Macan Turbo on 21" HRE P44SC
One of our customers posted a great review and thread on another forum and asked that I share it here with the members. I had to copy the image links, but I hope you all enjoy.
Below is TTcarrera's post:
I took delivery of the Turbo yesterday morning and had the new 21" HRE P44SC wheels installed.
We had a big storm yesterday and with all of the autumn leaves coming down, the streets are a mess and the car is really dirty. So these aren't exactly portrait grade photos, but here are a couple of shots for those who have expressed interest in both the HRE wheels and the Garnet Red interior.
First, I weighed the empty wheels and here's the data:
WHEEL | FRONT | REAR
OEM 911 Turbo II Style | 9J x 21 31.5 lbs. | 10J x 21 33.5 lbs.
HRE P44SC | 9.5J x 21 24.5 lbs. | 10.5J x 21 25.0 lbs.
Both wheels are forged. But the HREs are obviously lighter (but more expensive) and lower the car's unsprung weight for a potential improvement in handling. I also think they look much better.
Much thanks to John Brown and Dave Martin at Wheel Enhancement: Factory and after market wheels, tires and services for Porsche .
They are highly experienced Porsche wheel experts and I appreciate their fitment guidance.
Also, special thanks to Senior Brand Ambassador Gregg Rennord at Sunset Porsche, a consummate professional who is always a delight to work with.

Thank you TT. For some reason it wouldn't let me save the images and then post them.
The tires sizes are the OE 21" tire sizes. 265/40/21 and 295/35/21.
