When they come out with PCM update for the Macan, they might be able to fix that.

In the UK THE "boot" means the trunk.

Actually, the emoticons are quite small on the iPad version of this forum. Sorry I didn't get your humor. Trying to be helpful.

on UK cars, there is no need to press lock button a second time, you can press and hold lock button the first time, and mirrors will fold ..

I know for sure that it is an option available on new Macan cars from 2019 facelift versions. But I'm sure is also possible to program this function via PIWIS 3 Coding.
Anyone expert on piwis 3 knows what we have to search and code?

I just set this option to fold mirrors in when shutting ignition off in the mfd. 2022 gts
We also were fortunate to have the electric steering column with memory. December build

I hold the lock button on the remote for a second or two and the mirrors fold in....

I believe that's what you're looking for, two code highlighted in blue are both required to activate it

Interesting about the auto-fold option on 2019 and newer models.

At least -- unlike some newer vehicles -- the Macan has a way to permanently disable the engine autostart feature. This is so annoying that there are even aftermarket modules that have been created to defeat this feature.

My mirrors fold in automatically when I parallel park on a busy street with traffic moving by the vehicle (2017 S) In addition, AFTER adding the Niche convenience module I can fold them in by using the remote instead of the door handle. Long press and the windows/roof close as well.
