Throttle position data
Does anyone know if the gen I 996 cups had a throttle position sensor? My 2002 cup has an AIM MXL pista and there is no throttle position sensor input when I interrogate it through race studio 2.

Pre 02 I believe is the Bosch 5.2.2 ECU. It outputs CAN data at 500kbps but you have to add wires to the ECU harness to get access to it. Kgorman did a great write-up on it. You can get throttle position, RPM and outside temp.
Unfortunately, while Motec and Racelogic have both taken the time to write an interface for it, AIM hasn't yet. It may be possible to create one with the latest RS3 release but it's beyond my capabilities.

False alarm. The throttle position data is there, but is not labeled as such in the race studio 2 measures column. It was labeled "P911 PPS" as a percentage. Thanks everyone.
