Default Reading 991 Cup Data. What connectors?

Don't know if I should post it here or in the Data Analysis forum, but our team just received a 991 Cup car. I downloaded the Cosworth software and want to read the data from the car (I only used AiM until now, this is gonna be fun ...).

The cable that was delivered with the car is a Deutsch connector on one side, and an ethernet-style connector the other side. My computer does not have an ethernet connection. Will any usb-to-ethernet dongle work with this thing?

Anyone with first-hand experience with this?

Thanks!

I've used this cable on laptops with ethernet slot, but have not tried it with a USB adapter. Don't get your hopes up on reading Cosworth data. I do Motec and AIM a bunch, and one car with Cosworth. I find it extremely difficult to read/evaluate data. Report back when you get the cable connected and download.

They found some other guy to do it. Fine by be. Tbh I wasn't really that excited about doing this considering the complexity of the software. I'll just stick to AiM thankyouverymuch
