I spend a lot of time searching out great CUP car vids to learn from and just enjoy ... A good vid with clean sound and clear setup is really great watching... Especially in the off season or when the weather or worse some missing parts mean no track in the near future ... And while there is a lot of incar stuff, the PCar cup stuff is all over the place.

Now I also know that download-edit-upload is not quick and easy unless you have one of Jerry's smarty cams or a race shop that really goes the extra distance etc...
And once you've done it a few times there's often more important things to do ... But I figured between the 50 or so of us here - especially the 996s - we should have at least 3 great vids each ... And that would mean a whole lot of quality watching...so little effort required

On top of that there is some amazing pro stuff like the late great Sean Edwards' back of grid to P1 in a few laps .... So over the next few weeks I'll be posting those here ... Please feel free to join in, help and comment on anything interesting.

So if you have some IN-Car Race, Quali or official practice footage (ie competitive)

@DHI: its the SQS - there's quite a few threads on it on GT3 fora and 993Pet is actually selling one at a fair discount atm

@TED - its a GoPro on 5mpix720 (ie low qual to make edit/upload faster) on the cross bar; trick is a $5 mic wired through rear body grommet into engine bay and then a hole drilled in the GoPro case for the mic jack.
Camera is pretty much directly behind the passenger's head position but a bit higher

here is a fun race... my 2nd race ever in the car. was a few months ago, have come a ways since then in terms of braking mainly. action starts at 5 min in or so

This was the pca track record which lasted a year till Baron Jacobs eclipsed it, but i believe it still remains the gtc5 record. NJMP Thunderbolt. Michelin tires i believe. i think that spec tire deal had come into play at that time. i think.
