Default Which Cayman for SCCA SS class?

I am coming from a background of many years of Solo racing using Corvettes, but wanting to try out the (hallowed) Porsche marque.

Excluding brand new (say 2017/18) is there a particular year and/or option package that makes this car dominant in SCCA Street Class Solo racing? Stick vs. pdk or wheel pkg or (of course) hp/tq? Thanks in advance.

2009 & later to avoid any possible IMS issues.

TIA
