Not that I bought this car for its fuel efficiency, but I was blown away after my first road trip yesterday. Most of the drive was boring interstate driving; but I certainly had a few - ahem - "spirited" sprints here and there. Yet, I still managed a very respectable 29.1 MPGs. I think the best I ever managed in my manual 987.1 CS was about 26 MPG and that was being very gentle on the accelerator.

I can't wait for the tour through the Hill Country lined up for tomorrow, for some more of that "spirited" driving! If you're in the Austin area and would like to join us, send me a PM!
