Considering 2015 Cayman S CPO

I'm not doubting your methods, but I think you are getting to the same end result regardless if you start at asking price and work down, or try your logic.
This isn't splitting atoms....we're talking about buying a used car.
the dealer knows what they are willing to accept. It all comes down to how hard you are willing to push to get them as close to that number as you can.
I have always negotiated down from the asking price and had success. I don't mind the dealer making "some" money. They are a for profit business...
find a number that you feel is "fair " for you. If they accept it...buy. If they don't, walk away.

Three Wheelin'
Thxs for reply
i love the Spyder and plan to keep it forever
Cayman will be more of daily driver. I had a 911 but prefer the midengine concept
My trifecta would be to add a CGT but that would surely lead to divorce.
what do you think is a fair price for the above car?
Does Porsche negotiate used car prices?

That was my plan
its out of state I plan visit this week
Feel like I have "seen it" already
lots of pics sent multiple videos and a FaceTime inspection of entire car
Still want to drive it
CPO inspection shows 80 % left on brakes and tires are 8 mm fronts and 6 mm rears
