Default Cayman Tech Manual

Just purchased a 2010 base cayman. I need a good tech manual for basic maintenance. What does the group recommend? Thanks

Go to the Planet-9 forums. There's a ton of guides for basic maintenance and mods.

In addition to the Planet 9 forum as suggested above, Pelican Parts' website too has quite a few tutorial articles about common maintenance and repairs.
If you are a PCA member, there are model specific registry websites (Cayman Registry and Boxster Registry) that also feature numerous articles detailing maintenance and repairs.

If you want to hold something in your hand, get the 101 Projects for Your Porsche Boxster which covers a lot of basic maintenance and then some.

Used both this, as well as the Google last weekend when I did my first round of basic maintenance on the new to us '06 Cayman S.

Start with Porsche.com. Go to your year and model, and it lists service intervals and what Porsche recommends at these intervals.

Dont forget Youtube. Raf+Cars and Burner's Cars are entertaining and they document a whole ton of stuff.

Until Bentley updates their Service Manual to cover later Boxsters and Caymans, it'll be a mish mash of sources.
