If you want to hold something in your hand, get the 101 Projects for Your Porsche Boxster which covers a lot of basic maintenance and then some.
Used both this, as well as the Google last weekend when I did my first round of basic maintenance on the new to us '06 Cayman S.

Start with Porsche.com. Go to your year and model, and it lists service intervals and what Porsche recommends at these intervals.
Dont forget Youtube. Raf+Cars and Burner's Cars are entertaining and they document a whole ton of stuff.
Until Bentley updates their Service Manual to cover later Boxsters and Caymans, it'll be a mish mash of sources.
