passenger door and window wont open and mirror wont move... Help !
My 06 Cayman S UK model.
Was working fine but now, the central locking button in the middle of the dash isnt working, the car isnt self locking when driving. And worst of all, I cant open the passenger (left) door, or window or operate the mirror.
I've plugged in my reader which is coming up C123 fault - "Communication passenger's door control unil (comfort)" . It lets me reset it but comes back straight away.
Is this control unit an actual seperate unit that can be changed, if so where is it ?
Would disconnecting the battery be worth a try or could that cause more porblems with other systems ?
I've checked passenger window fuse and door lock fuse.
Thanks.

Sounds like a bad control module. Does your code reader also have "code connect", which recommends the corrective action and approximate cost?
BTW, I didn't know Caymans self lock when driving. Edit: OK, I see that I need PCM or some such to program it myself. Too bad I can't change it without a trip to the dealer. It looks like Durametric could also read each door.
