Default Rookie Question Here, please help!!

Just bought a 2010 Cayman S with 20k miles. Want to do the extended warranty with Porsche. What are the benefits of having that and whats the average ( estimate ) cost for that warranty? Thanks!!

Are you in the US? If so you cannot get a Porsche warranty. You can get a warranty from Easy care or others. Oh and congrats on the car. generally 987.2 is reliable.

Get a quote. Take the same money and put in sock drawer. Don't touch it. Use only for unscheduled repairs. Odds are, in a few years, when you go to buy your next Porsche, you'll have money left over for a deposit.

Agreed. This model is particularly trouble free, no major issues uncovered to date.
