Value help. 2006 cayman s
How much is a 2006 porsche cayman s with 78k miles tiptronic two owners. Sports chrono navigation it is fully loaded. No maintenance history clean title. I am asking because I have a 2005 lotus elise i value at 25k he is trying to trade me the most I could get on top of the trade was 1k. Any help with what you guys think I can sell it for?

no where near 25 k IMO.
Tip hurts the value as does limited maintenance and usage history, especially for 987.1. IMS is a problem on these and I'd want to see a bonafide receipt .
My guess is it's worth between 17-21 grand.

I've seen them anywhere from 19-36k for 2006 Caymans during my search. Those miles should put it at 19-24k depending on the shape of the rest of the car. No maintenance history? is there anything noting in the carfax? eddielasvegas is spot on.

Mileage is a bit "high. Average miles for this MY is around 56,000 miles.
From a dealer the price ranges from $20333 to $24504. This is the "fair" market range.
$23,306 is the suggested "retail" price.
If you take this Cayman S in for a car valued at $25K (your Lotus and assuming this valuation is accurate) even up you are facing selling the Cayman S at a possible $8K loss. A quick flip sale on your part with no time with the car, and no maintenance/service history from the time the car spent with the previous owners, is going to scare most buyers away. So that $19,581 price quoted above is probably optimistic.

If the seller claims that IMS bearing has been replaced, have your PPI check for case splitting evidence and ask for receipts. Someone who went to that expense will have receipts.
It's an engine-out deal. That's a huge expense to go to unless the bearing actually failed, in which case there are other problems to look for.
I have seen 2006 987CS with fewer miles and 6MT go for 20-22K, with highly desired options and improvements. I'd echo the 19-20K mark.
I could see $26K if it had under 30,000 miles with all of those options and 6MT. I'd personally subtract $4-5K for having the tiptronic, but that's me.
